https:\/\/www.humblebundle.com\/books\/terry-pratchetts-discworld-harpercollins-books<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n the novels fall into what you might describe as the comic fantasy genre and if you like that genre, this is an amazing bargain on some of the best books in this genre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n So what is Diskworld? “it’s a flat planet<\/a> balanced on the backs of four elephants which in turn stand on the back of a giant turtle.” The books cleverly parody many traditional tropes in fantasy and, how can you not like a series where a hero named “Cohen the Barbarian” pops up from time to time?<\/p>\n\n\n\n Finally, it’s important to always remember that, as this well known story tells us, it’s “turtles all the way down”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n “A well-known scientist (some say it was Bertrand Russell) once gave a public lecture on astronomy. He described how the earth orbits around the sun and how the sun, in turn, orbits around the center of a vast collection of stars called our galaxy. At the end of the lecture, a little old lady at the back of the room got up and said: “What you have told us is rubbish.
